Save One Life, Transform Another
Many young women who are facing an unplanned pregnancy don’t have a safe place to live. Alone and overwhelmed by the future, they may believe abortion is their only option. At 29:Eleven Maternity Home, we empower expectant mothers through safe housing, healthcare, counselling and life skills training–so they can feel confident as they navigate towards parenthood or creating an adoption plan.

the life of the mother.
With hearts for service, Mike and Beckie Pérez had been praying for an opportunity to make an impact in San Diego’s East County where they both grew up. In 2013 they were given inspiration to stand in the gap for an underserved and vulnerable population–women in unplanned pregnancies. The 29:Eleven Maternity Home was created under Imago Dei Ministries in 2014 and opened its doors in the Spring of 2017.
About Us
Mike is a fourth generation San Diegan. He graduated from Valhalla High School, Stanford University and the UCLA School of Law. Mike has been practicing law as a trial attorney for 27 years, both in civil law firms and for nearly a decade as a federal prosecutor with the Department of Justice. For the past 12 years, Mike has been the Managing Partner of PEREZ VAUGHN & FEASBY. Mike coaches Little League, Youth Football, and high school wrestling at St. Augustine.
Beckie is also a San Diego native who graduated from Santana High School, San Diego State University, University of Phoenix and Walden University. For several years she taught elementary school in El Cajon before resigning from her position to dedicate her full time efforts toward establishing the 29:Eleven Maternity Home.
Mike and Beckie have four amazing children. Tony is in his junior year at the University of Notre Dame, Jacqui is a 14 year old ninth grader, Michael is a 8 year old in third grade, and 4 year old Ezekiel is in his second year of preschool. They are blessed and grateful.

The home is full, but that doesn’t stop referrals from organizations or inquiries from women in need of a loving, supportive home. And as you know, it’s hard to sleep knowing there are homeless pregnant women in our community who…

When the 29:Eleven Maternity Home opened last May in a small La Mesa apartment, we were eager, anxious and excited—not sure of how things would unfold, but confident that God had everything in the palm of His Hand! However, we knew the apartment…
